MERII KURISUMASU ( A Joyful Celebration at Japan )

 Christmas is the most anticipated holiday in the world because of it's unique way of celebrating like the exchanging of gifts, playing games, eating multiple types of food with the entire family etc. But the key point of celebrating christmas is to glorify the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ and how His birth changed the past, present and future.

On December 21 2025 I boarded a bus going to Cubao all alone, just me and I. All I did at the bus was eat and sleep, I arrived at Cubao at 9pm, My tita picked me up at the bus alongside my cousins and immediately went home.  

The next day we packed our essential items and my tito who was a pastor prayed because we were going to Japan, the place where samurai's once lived, yokai's that hunted people but still gave them lessons along the way, and the place where anime was born. 

When we arrived at Japan I was excited because this was the country that I've been longing to see and now that I arrived I was in awe and ready to mark a new adventure. The first thing that we did was book a hotel at kyoto, then after that we explored the wanders of kyoto, I saw things that I wouldn't know that it existed. I saw shrines that felt like going to the sky, artifacts that existed a long time ago, anime merch that I wanted so bad like detective conan and nanbaka also foods that tasted so heavenly. 

But I felt something was missing...someone was missing...my parents, they couldn't come with us due to their jobs that's why I felt someone was missing but I sent pictures to them for them too see that I am okay and wish for them to experience it in the future.

We celebrated christmas there, my tito was the game master the first game that we played was guess the bible character by it's emoji as a girl who attended sunday church everyday until now I can say that I'm an expert aty it and no surprise my team won and he gave us 500 peso each alongside with other games there we're many money prizes, I enjoyed every single thing that happened that night.

The day after chrtistmas we departed and went to manila but those memories will remain intact to my heart until I die.

A Greener Tomorrow

  Participating in the clean-up drive was a truly eye-opening experience that left a lasting impression on me. It not only allowed me to contribute to the community but also made me realize the significant impact of our daily actions on the environment. Witnessing the amount of waste and debris that had accumulated in our surroundings was a stark reminder of the importance of responsible waste management and the need for sustainable practices.  President Ferdinand Marcos declared July as Nutrition Month under Presidential Decree No.491, signed on June 25, 1974, according to the National Nutrition Council. This decree aimed to raise awareness among Filipinos about the importance of good nutrition. Fifty-one years have passed since the declaration of Nutrition Month —thankfully, it still strives and spreads awareness among Filipinos, especially students.
