Old is Gold

They say Old is Gold and this may be the reason why I'm interested to the chunky pages  of classic pages of classic literatures that were written before I was born. There's something divine within these old stories that resonates within us until this day. Like a wind flowing in a random direction, these stories flows the truth about the world and an ink that never fades.

Classic literatures about mystery, morality, madness, suffering-- aren't just themes that you see on those books, they are like a reflection towards us especially the ones we still haven't fully understood or uncovered. In these chunky pages, I've concluded that I need that I read these types of books not just for my own curiosity but I read them because of experience. The minds of thinkers who saw beyond the nature of humans--amazed me. One literature come from Dostoyevsky's Crime and Punishment, a book filled with regrets, suffering and redemption. One quote that me like lightning : " I did not bow down to you, I bowed down to the suffering of humanity". This is like a salute for the people who are qute inside suffering which is an endless pain of being a human.

I agree to the saying " Old is Gold" not just because how ancient it is but because of the everlasting impact in our modern lives. These stories, these experience -- they have shaped for who I am. They taught me that the mysteries I'll uncover is my own growth.

I am Gianna Grace Q. Bagbaguen. A girl who reads to learn, to experience and to grow.

A picture of me wearing a stethoscope and glasses at a young age, like I mentioned, shows that I'm a girl who learns, experiences, and grows even at a young age, and I've developed these characteristics.

Me at National Book Store holding two pieces of literature.

Me picking a book that I wanna buy

                                          My favorite part
                                   One of my favorite classic
Literature called 'the idiot' by Fyodor Dostoyevsky

Literature isn’t just about reading. If you want to truly capture the scenes in a book, you can also watch adaptations online—like me, watching a show based on Crime and Punishment by Dostoevsky.
