Highschool Day: A Day Filled With Sweat, Joy And Celebration

It really felt different than usual to be at school the day before High School Day. Just by entering the classroom, we'd know what everyone was there for to get the props done and be ready for the party. The room had all kinds of stuff lying around paper, cardboard, tape you name it. The people who were there doing different things some were cutting shapes, and a couple were wondering how to put all the materials together. Even though it shouldn't have been a big deal for anyone, that kind of untidiness normally shows that people really work.

I wanted to help a lot but I couldn't because I had journalism training. Still, I tried to do a little with the small tasks whenever I had the time. Though I was not there the whole time, I could plainly see the camaraderie in the classroom. Everyone seemed like they would even help each other to make sure the props would be finished. Some friends even kept the focus for a long time, adjusting the details, and fixing the parts so the whole thing would look better. Seeing that kind of teamwork made the prep work feel more worthwhile.

We headed outdoors for our practice session----I joined the practice whenever we didn't have an intensive training. The sun rays sharply hit and the warmth can be felt instantly when one goes to the field. It was visible that people had started feeling exhaustion through repeating same actions time and again. Some individuals had their face tissues while few were resting momentarily to breathe. However with the blazing sun only our spirits were not down. There were still people's smiles, interaction friend chatting and support when somebody did a step right. It was quite working out the body and at the same time very pleasantly in some kind of way.

The parade was really quite lowkey, but in the end it was a pleasant surprise. Seeing the various groups strolling along with their props brought a vibrant atmosphere to the school. Some props were huge and striking, while the others were just simple but still very inventive. A grand parade or not, seeing everyone taking part and representing their sections was somehow lovely.

When the performances started, every grade level did their best to showcase their props and talents. Each grade had its own style, and it was clear that a lot of effort went into preparing for that moment. Some performances were energetic, others were more coordinated, but all of them showed how much practice the students had put in. The props that were made the day before finally had their moment on stage, and it was satisfying to see them being used during the presentations.

The teachers also joined the celebration with their own performance. Their presentation was colorful and lively, and it added another level of excitement to the program. It was nice to see them participating alongside the students and showing their own energy on stage.

Looking back, the day before High School Day was not just about preparing materials or practicing routines. It was really about the small moments that happened in between--- the teamwork in the classroom, the laughter during practice under the sun, and the shared excitement for the event. Even though it was tiring at times, it was one of those experiences that quietly showed the spirit of the school community.
