No Filipino Left Behind: A Letter to the President

Dear President,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirit. I am writing to bring an important issue to your attention and respectfully request your consideration and action

First and foremost, I want to express my deepest gratitude for your dedication and for having the heart to strive to make the Philippines a great nation.

The purpose of this letter is to highlight a significant concern that warrants your attention. Poverty is a crucial problem that every country experiences and it hurts to see many people experiencing this like imagine you are a person who's using your phone complaining because the internet went out but on the outside of your window there are many people dying because of starvation, kids begging in the streets, Adults who steal so they can eat, etc. It's  sad that we live in this cruel world where people suffer every day. The impact of this issue has been felt by the community and as young as we are—us students are also affected by this issue, and it is crucial that we take prompt action to take prompt action to address it.

I understand the complex challenges and the pressure that you feel as the president of this nation, but I strongly believe that if we unite as one, we can overcome these types of obstacles—I understand that this issue is really hard; it's not like a short-term problem. I humbly request your support and action to give attention to those who are in need—our goal is to make the nation a more better place, right? so why wouldn't we prioritize our people as William Shakespeare said, 'No man is an island,' meaning that all of us are connected and highlighting the importance of these connections for the well-being and survival of any individual."

Thank you for your time and consideration. I have faith in your dedication and commitment to serving our Motherland. I am confident that under your guidance, we can overcome this challenge and continue to move forward as a united and prosperous country.

These are Filipino children holding a sign that reads,
‘Please help us, we need food.’
Even the children—the future of our nation—are affected by poverty.

This picture shows a family reflecting their poor living conditions.
However, if you look closely, the young girl is smiling—showcasing the innocence of a child
who is still unaware of the hardships they face.

This is an example of the many houses

where people with poor living conditions reside,

reflecting the daily struggles they face.

These are people who, sadly, cannot say the words, ‘Nothing feels like home.

These are the words of the President,
And we hope that together with him, we can fulfill this dream.
